Smart Destinations VentureOn brand identity system

Background

Smart Destinations is the leading provider of technology-based packaged travel products and services to the tourism industry. The Smart Destinations flagship product is the Go Visitor Card, a packaged discount card that can be used at various venues throughout the country. Through research, the company found this product was well-known at the business-to-business level, but not at the consumer level. In an effort to build greater awareness with consumers, Smart Destinations decided to rebrand their Go Visitor Card and other products under a new name and build a story that would appeal to the masses.

Solution

The new name, VentureOn, and brand positioning were first developed leading to the visual expression of the brand. For the final solution, the “Journey Symbol” was created representing a complete destination experience made up of individual experiences. The organic quality of this mark lends itself to other interpretations of a “Journey Line” that reinforce the fun and ease of these connected experiences.
