Led by Jim Adorney, Adorney Design is a creative agency specializing in strategic design development and implementation of integrated branding programs.
Jim brings over 18 years of experience in the development, design, execution and management of global corporate and brand identity programs across the full-range of media from print and web-based applications to packaging, merchandising systems and environmental/retail concepts. He has been responsible for leading high-level branding initiatives across a diverse number of industries including consumer and durable goods, technology, pharmaceutical, retail and financial services.
Jim’s client work has included such notable companies as P&G, CVS Caremark,
Owens Corning, New Balance, Campbell’s Soup Co., Merck & Co., iRobot, Keurig,
Bose Corporation and Staples. Prior to starting Adorney Design, Jim was Creative Director for Boston-based Phillips Design Group where he oversaw all creative development. Jim was also the Design Director for Catapult Thinking, where he was responsible for leading all visual communications within the company.
Jim’s previous experience includes being a Design Director at Landor Associates in Cincinnati where he led a large team of designers while overseeing all package design for P&G’s Crest brand.
He also spearheaded the creative development to revitalize the Takeda Pharmaceuticals brand. A Connecticut native, Jim attended DePauw University in Indiana, followed by graduate studies at Pratt Institute, NC State School of Art and the Florence Academy of Art. Jim has been a member of both the NYC Art Directors Club and the Boston AIGA and, when not working, he is involved in the sports and arts activities of his three young daughters.
